At Goel Steel, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality hot work tool steels that meet the most demanding industrial applications. Our cutting-edge steel, designed for die casting, extrusion, and hot forming industries, is engineered to provide superior performance, ensuring durability, toughness, and resistance to extreme temperatures. With Goel Steel, you are not just investing in a product; you’re partnering with a leader in high-performance industrial steels tailored to meet your specific needs.

Why Choose Goel Steel's Hot Work Tool Steels?

UH1 stands out due to its unique composition, which is tailored to address the growing demand for wear-resistant materials in hot stamping processes. Here’s why UH1 is your go-to choice:

  • Goel Steel’s hot work tool steels are engineered for industries requiring consistent performance under high thermal stress. Whether it’s die casting or extrusion, our products maintain their strength even at elevated temperatures, ensuring longevity and reliability.

  • Our steels are designed to withstand the rigors of high-pressure applications, offering unmatched toughness. This is especially important in hot forming industries, where materials are subject to extreme wear and tear.
  • Our premium steel solutions are optimized for economic efficiency. By enhancing wear resistance, our products reduce the need for frequent replacements, lowering overall operational costs for businesses.
  • The HP1 steel we offer is exclusively available in the ESR grade, a process that ensures higher purity, toughness, and polishability. The ESR technology enhances the overall quality of the steel, making it the perfect choice for high-end applications.

Applications of UH1 Steel in Hot Stamping

Die Casting

Designed to handle the extreme pressures and temperatures in die casting, our hot work tool steels are the industry standard for die casting dies.

Extrusion

Goel Steel’s hot work tool steels provide the toughness and wear resistance necessary for the rigorous demands of extrusion.

Hot Forming

From forging to hot forming applications, our steels excel in providing both strength and durability.

Heat Treatment and Hardening Process

Our hot work tool steels are delivered in a soft annealed condition, with a maximum hardness of 220 HB. For hardening, we recommend preheating the steel to 100-400°C, followed by slow cooling in a furnace to ensure optimal results.

  • Soft Annealing: 820-840°C for 4-6 hours, followed by slow cooling in a furnace. Stress Relieving: Heat to approximately 650°C for 2-4 hours, then slowly cool.
  • Hardening: 1020°C for 60 minutes, with air or nitrogen gas cooling.

Goel Steel’s Commitment to Quality

At Goel Steel, we understand that reliability and profitability are critical to your business. That’s why our hot work tool steels are optimized for durability and extended life. Our steel undergoes stringent testing to ensure it meets the highest quality standards, making it ideal for a variety of high-performance applications.
